It's Okay Not To Have A Dream
I once felt lost in that very question, unsure of where my path led. Then, I heard a lyric from the song Paradise that changed my heart:
“It’s alright to not have a dream if you have moments where you feel happiness for a while.”
In that moment, I understood—happiness isn’t always found in grand dreams. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet joy of a single, fleeting moment. The warmth of a smile, the peace of a calm evening, the beauty in simply being.
Something I realized:
You being your parent's child is enough.
You being a brother or sister to your sibling is enough.
You being a friend to one is enough.
You need not always chase big goals or compare yourself to others. There is no shame in simply being, in finding meaning in the small roles you play.
It’s okay not to have a dream. Life is not a race toward a distant goal, but a collection of moments that make us feel alive. If you find happiness in these small moments, you are already living a meaningful life.
